TNAU or Tamil Nadu Agricultural University provides admission in B.Sc (Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Forestry, and Food Science & Nutrition), B.S (Agribusiness Management) and B.Tech (Agriculture Information Technology, Agriculture Engineering, Biotechnology, Horticulture, Food Process Engineering, Bioinformatics and Energy & Environmental Engineering) courses.

Eligibility Criteria
One need to pass all subjects in academic stream of the qualifying exam with 10+2 years of schooling under Board of Higher Secondary Education of Government of Tamil Nadu / Central Board of Secondary Education / Council for The Indian School Certificate Examinations / other State Government Boards / other International Boards that are recognized.

If the qualifying exam is other than Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary (HSC) Exam, normalization procedure is adopted for computing minimum eligibility and ranking.

Age Limit

One must not have completed the age of 21 years on the first day of July of the admission year
For Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Caste-Arunthathiars (SCA) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) there is no age limit.
