TISSNET Difficulty Level

I want to know the difficulty level of TISSNET exam conducted by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and also let me know other related details of exam?

Selection Process
The selection of candidates for different programmes happens in two stages and has three components of assessment.

All candidates appear for the National entrance test (TISSNET).

Based on the performance in the TISSNET examination, only short listed candidates are called for the Pre Interview Test and Personal Interview.(PIT/PI)

Marks for Different Components of Assessment

National Common Written Test
100 marks

Pre-Interview Test/GD
50 marks

Personal Interview
75 marks

Total
225 marks

Eligibility
Candidates with three year s Bachelor s degree or equivalent from a recognised university are eligible to apply.

Candidates studying in three and four-year degree programmes should have passed in all the subjects of semester 1 to semester 4 and semester 1 to semester 6 respectively.

Candidates studying in the final year of their degree programme are also eligible to apply

Exam pattern
TISSNET will be conducted in computer-based mode and for 100 marks.

The exam will comprise questions from General Awareness, English Proficiency, and Maths & Logical Reasoning.

The duration of exam will be 1 hour 40 minutes.

The question paper will carry 100 questions and for each correct answer candidates will score 1 mark.
