Go through syllabus and Exam Pattern

You may start with Tamilnadu State Board Books.

Cover every line of the 6th Std - 10th Std Science, Social Science Books

For TNPSC Pothu Tamil and General English portions you should study Tamil / English books from the Samacheerkalvi 6th to 10th standard books and some portions from 11th, 12th also

Download previous question papers and practice those papers well.

Prepare topic wise schedule by covering all the topics in Group IV exam.

Create a study plan with time table in proper way to utilize the time.

Go with another subject, if finishes one Subject with more practice.

Revise the Syllabus after it has been finished.

TNPSC group 4 exam pattern

Written Examination will comprise of three parts, mainly, English/Tamil, aptitude test and general studies.

The question paper will set of 300 marks in total, in which 75 questions are asked from General Studies, 25 questions from Aptitude Test and 100 questions from General English/ General Tamil.

Time duration given to handwrite the examination is about three hours, that is, 180 minutes.
