Some tips to prepare for interview for admission in NIFT or National Institute of Fashion Technology are as follows:

Be on time for the Interview

Maintain etiquettes

Dress appropriately

Do not use slang

Carry Portfolio

Maintain eye contact with the person interviewing.

Always be positive, avoid negatives. Don’t talk about your past employers or coworkers.

Try to connect responses to the company one is interviewing with. Use stories that are relevant to desired position.

Bring extra copies of resume.

Avoid conventional answers

Know your subject

Do not know the answer, admit it

Provide clear, concise responses to the interview questions. Don’t ramble. No “ahs” and “ums.”

Think of one or two questions to ask at the end of the interview. It shows interest and that you care.
