The 13th Asian International Seminar on Atomic and Molecular Physics to be organized by Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) & Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) is to be conducted from 3-8 December 2018.

The Asian International Seminar on Atomic and Molecular Physics (AISAMP) series is a two-yearly event which brings together scientists and researchers working in the field of atomic and molecular physics.

Its series provides a wide platform for exchanging ideas, displaying most recent results and interacting with scientists across the geographical boundaries.

The 13th edition is expected to bring together about 120-150 participants mainly from the different countries of Asia and Australia along with participation from the other continents.

TIFR jointly with IITB will be hosting this meeting at the IITB campus. It coincides with the diamond jubilee celebration of IITB. The scientific programme will focus on the following main topics:
Atomic collisions with molecules, clusters, surfaces
Collisions in condensed phase
DEA/ionization of DNA/RNA/water
Fragmentation of bio-molecules and PAH
Laser-assisted collisions
Atomic molecular electronic structure
Strong-field and ultrafast Physics
Cold collisions, precision spectroscopy
