Hello buddy tell me is JEE Advanced compulsory tom take admission in B.arch, as I want to take admission in this program ??

Yes JEE Advanced compulsory to take admission in B.arch, bcoz Architecture Aptitude Test which is an architecture entrance exam for admission into IITs into the 5 years undergraduate B.Arch Course and Architecture Aptitude Test can only be taken by students who have qualified JEE Main & JEE Advanced. Important Dates Online Registration June 12, 2016, 10 a.m. to June 13, 2016, till 5 p.m. Date of the test June 15, 2016 (9.00 a.m. to 12.00) Result of Architecture Exam - JEE Advanced June 19, 2016 Exam Pattern Architecture Aptitude Test Exam will consist of one paper of three hours duration – from 09:00 to 12:00 hrs (IST). Question papers for the Aptitude Test will be in English only. Architecture Aptitude Test Syllabus Freehand drawing This would comprise of simple drawing depicting the total object in its right form and proportion, surface texture, relative location and details of its component parts in appropriate scale. Common domestic or day-to-day life usable objects like furniture, equipment, etc., from memory. Geometrical drawing Exercises in geometrical drawing containing lines, angles, triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons, circles etc. Study of the plan (top view), elevation (front or side views) of simple solid objects like prisms, cones, cylinders, cubes, splayed surface holders etc. Three-dimensional perception Understanding and appreciation of three-dimensional forms with building elements, colour, volume and orientation. Visualization through structuring objects in memory. Imagination and aesthetic sensitivity Composition exercises with given elements. Context mapping. Creativity checks through the innovative uncommon test with familiar objects. The sense of colour grouping or application. Architectural awareness General interest and awareness of famous architectural creations – both national and international, places and personalities (architects, designers etc. ) in the related domain. |
