Theatre Studies Christ University

The most important objective of the BA TEP-Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Theatre Studies, English and Psychology Program offered by Christ University is to train in different aspects of the theatre such as script, acting, direction and stage craft. At the end, one should be able to put up independent productions and use theatre in various applied contexts. Eligibility 2020 A pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) in any stream (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, Sciences) from any recognised Board in India is required. One writing the +2 exams in March-May 2020 may apply with their class X and XI marks. One pursuing International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations: One pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits. One pursuing GCE / Edexcel must have a minimum of 3 A levels and a grade not less than C. Selection Process Audition It is a five minutes assessment on the precise art and performance skill on stage. This will include dance, or any other form suitable to appropriately manifest the candidate’s gift on stage SA - Skill Assessment The skill assessment will consist of a test on written skills, communication skills and logical reasoning. PI - Personal interview Academic Performance Assessment of past performance in Class 10, Class 11/12, during the Personal Interview Fee Structure |
