Thayer Central Community Schools is a state North Central accredited K-12 school district located in south-central Nebraska. The district encompasses 282 square miles of land in Thayer County. Communities that comprise the district include Hebron, Chester, Byron, Hubbell, Gilead, Carleton, and Belvedere. The high, intermediate, and primary schools are all located in Hebron. Their K-12 student population is currently at 398. The staff includes 3 administrative positions, 37 teachers and 33 classified staff members. School was founded in 2001. The TCCS community in cooperation with families and communities promotes the academic, physical, environmental, and social wellness of all students to become productive citizens. Award: A state and North Central accredited K-12 school district.
