Re: Tcg ssc
The Trusted Computing Group TCG is a computing company which defines the Security Subsystem Class. The TCG was established in January 2009. The Trusted Storage Architecture Core Specification developed in the Storage Work Group provides a comprehensive definition of TCG-related functions for a TCG trusted storage device. This specification defines the Opal Security Subsystem Class (SSC). Any SD that claims OPAL SSC compatibility SHALL conform to this specification. The intended audience for this specification is both trusted Storage Device manufacturers and developers that want to use these Storage Devices in their systems. Specification: Specifies the mandated TCG Core Specification capabilities; Specifies optional TCG Core Specification capabilities; and Specifies how to activate the trusted storage device as well as revert the trusted storage device to its manufacturing state Table Of Contents: 1 INTRODUCTION Document Purpose Security Subsystem Classes Scope and Intended Audience Goals Key Words Precedence References Definition of Terms 2 OVERVIEW 3 SSC FEATURES AND CAPABILITY DEFINITIONS Interface Communications Protocol Cryptographic Features Authentication Table Management Issuance SSC Discovery Discovery levels Level 0 Discovery Contact to: Trusted Computing Group Administration 3855 SW 153rd Drive Beaverton, Oregon 97003 Phone: +1.503.619.0562 Information brochure of Security Subsystem Class of Trusted Computing Group TCG trustedcomputinggroup.org/wp-content/uploads/TCG_Storage-SSC_Enterprise-v1.01_r1.00.pdf |
