Re: Target MBA Schools

Most people who have decided to pursue an MBA program start their business school search by focusing on programs that are well known or have been ranked highly

These candidates assume that if a school has a widely recognizable name or has done well in the various rankings, it must have a strong MBA program.

Although this is likely true, the decision about which business school to attend should really be based on many other factors as well

Just because a school is well known or has been awarded a high position in a survey, this does not mean it is necessarily the right school for you.

Attending business school is a huge investment—of time, emotion, energy, money—and the experience will undoubtedly change your life, both professionally and personally

Considering not just a school’s reputation, but also its location, the size and character of its classes and student body, the predominant teaching method used, its alumni base and involvement, its facilities and campus, the length of its program and several other pertinent factors.
