The Government of Tamil Nadu has entrusted Anna University to conduct Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA).

Anna University has designed, developed, and adopted TNEA Single Window Counseling process to ensure that engineering aspirants get admission into engineering colleges of Tamil Nadu.

Admission Procedure for Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu:

TNEA:


Admission to engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu is based on the marks secured in 10+2 or its equivalent through single window counseling by Anna University.

Eligibility criteria:

The eligibility for TNEA is that you should have completed HSC with minimum score on the core subjects, i.e. Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.

1. HSC ( Academic ) / Plus 2 / 12th / Equivalent:

- Those who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

- OC candidates should have secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate.

2. Diploma:

Those who have passed 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central / State Governments.

TNEA application documents:

• 10th Mark Sheet

• HSC / Equivalent / Diploma Mark Sheet

• Transfer Certificate

• Permanent Community Certificate Card for ST, SC, SCA, MBC&DNC, BC and BCM

• Nativity Certificate (if applicable)

• H. Sc. / Diploma Hall Ticket

• First Graduate Certificate and First Graduate Joint Declaration (if applicable)

• NATA Mark Sheet

• NATA Hall Ticket
