Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions ( TNEA) is the admission procedure that is conducted by the Anna University for the undergraduate admissions in the engineering colleges at Tamilnadu.

TNEA Eligibility Criteria:
1.Students must have passed 10+2 exam
2. Student must secure minimum of 50% in aggregate
3. Students must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Maths as compulsory subjects.
4.on the basis of the marks of Class XI and XII students are shortlist.

TNEA Selection Procedure:
Admissions is given based on the factors:
Community wise Categorization
Percentage of marks in Mathematics and Physics
Percentage of marks in the 4th optional subject,
Date of Birth

On the basis of the above factors merit list will created and seat will be allotted.
