Syndicate Bank PO position details are as given below: Probationary Officers Eligibility; Age limit: Minimum age limit – 20 years Maximum age Limit – 30 years Age Relaxation belonging categories of SC/ST/domiciled in Kashmir Division of J & K State/Persons affected by 1984 riots -5 years, OBC/ECO, SSCO of Ex-serviceman with 5 years Service-3 years & 10 years for PWD (UR) candidates as per Govt. Norms. Qualification; The Applicants should have Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks aggregation from Central/State recognized University. Pay scale; Pay Scale in the range of Rs.14500 to Rs.25700. Selection procedure: PO selection will be based on IBPS score. Exam pattern; Topics for exam Reasoning Quantitative Aptitude General Awareness English Language Total Questions in Each Section: 50 Question Weightage: 1 Mark Allotted Total Time: 2 Hours There is negative marking- 0.25 Marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Syllabus; Reasoning- This section has the questions which include the verbal and non- verbal part of the reasoning. The questions based on mental presence and caliber are put up into this section. The topics which are included are- Venn Diagrams, Sentence Comprehension, Statements and Conclusions, round table questions, pattern matching, odd man series, missing pattern, fill in the appropriate blank, figure classification, coding & decoding Quantitative Aptitude– The questions will be based on the mathematical section which will include the course studied in the secondary classes and higher secondary classes. The topics are- Number system, Problems on ages, Statistics, probability, permutation & Combination, sets, averages, problems on trains, time & work, time & speed, allegation & mixtures, boats & streams, geometry General Awareness- This section of the paper will have the questions to judge the relation of the candidate with the surroundings and the world. The candidates need to answer the questions from- Economic point view, surroundings, general science questions, everyday observations, simple scientific concepts, new technologies, geography, climate and important dates of the events The questions will also be asked from the current affairs which relates to news related to World & India. English– Being an important part of bank sector job, English is being asked in the exam written paper. The questions are set up based on to judge power and command in English. These include- Verbs, Adverbs, Prepositions, Conjuntions, Nouns, phrases, Vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms, Idioms, Comprehension passages. |
