Syndicate Bank Education Loan
Can you tell me about the Education Loan policy of Syndicate Bank in India as I want to apply for the loan for further higher studies?

Syndicate Bank provides financial support to deserving / meritorious students for pursuing higher education in India and abroad too. It extends educational loans under SyndVidya and SyndSuperVidya schemes. Eligibility Any Indian National, who is an adult or a minor student represented by a guardian, can apply for the loan. The applicant is considered eligible if one gets admission to a professional or vocational program on the basis of a selection procedure or an entrance test. However, there can be exceptions made in some special cases. If one plans to study from a reputed foreign university abroad, one can do so. Maximum Amount of Loan Study in India-Rs.10 lakhs Study Abroad -Rs.20 lakhs Courses Eligible An applicant can only apply to study graduate, postgraduate or doctoral programs in India. One is also considered for the loan if one plans to study computer certificate courses of recognized institutes having accreditation to Department of Electronics or affiliation to universities in India. One who wants to pursue professional programs in Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, Veterinary Science, Law, Computer and other streams in India are also considered eligible. Some specialized courses such as CFA, ICWA; programs by the likes of IIMs, IISc; Evening programs; diploma courses sanctioned by bodies like UGC, AICTE or government; programs of foreign universities or recognized national institutes in India are also considered. If one plan to study abroad a postgraduate course like MBA or MCA, employment-oriented graduate program by recognized university or one by CPA in the US or CIMA-London in abroad, can apply too.
