The syllabus of Law Assistants Exam of RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) is generally be in conformity with the educational & technical qualifications prescribed for the post & in this case it is Bachelor of Law. Syllabus Reasoning: Sitting arrangement, Blood relations, Syllogism, Decision making, Series completion Statement reasoning Analogy etc. English language: Reading comprehension, Error detection, Passage correction, Rearrangement, Idioms and phrases, Active and passive voice etc. Numerical ability: Arithmetic, Numbers, Percentage, Time and distance, Logs, Permutation and combination, Probability, Data Interpretation Quantitative Aptitude Online Quiz General awareness and Computer knowledge: In this exam questions are asked from current issues, basic hardware and software knowledge question. RRB Law Assistants Post Salary: INR 5200-20200 Grade Pay 2400 Educational requirements: Degree in law and three years Practice Required Skills: Serving Railway Magistrates are also eligible to apply Experience requirements: At least 3 years standing practice as a pleader at Bar Age Criteria: 18-40 Years Selection Procedure 1. All selections made by the Railway Recruitment Boards are purely based on merit position obtained by the candidates in the written examinations subject to reservations for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. Viva-voce tests (interviews). 2. All written examinations are of multiple choice objective type. There will be negative marking, 1/3 mark will be deducted for every wrong answser. 3. The syllabus for the written examinations is generally commensurate with the qualifications prescribed for the post. 4. The questions will be in General Knowledge/General Intelligence and Reasoning and Analytical abilities and in the technical/professional subjects wherever technical/professional qualifications are prescribed. In addition in certain categories like Clerks, Probationary Station Masters, Commercial/Traffic Apprentices/Junior Accounts Assistants etc., questions in English/Hindi language can also be asked. Law Assistants are selected in single stage written examination followed by interview |
