I am providing you the syllabus of Maharashtra Common Entrance Test MHT CET Exam MHT CET Exam syllabus Paper Subject Marks Duration Paper 1 Physics Chemistry 50 50 1 hour 30 minutes Paper 2 Botany Zoology 50 50 1 hour 30 minutes Paper 3 Mathematics 100 1 hour 30 minutes Total Duration of the exam will be 3 hours. 200 multiple choice objective questions will be asked in the exam. No negative marking for incorrect answers. 1 mark will be added for each correct answer. Physics- Kinetic theory of gases and radiation, Atoms, Molecules And Nuclei, Oscillations, Rotational Motion, Electrostatics, Electromagnetic Induction, Magnetic Effects of Electric Current, Semi-Conductors, Wave Motion, Surface Tension, Interference and Diffraction, Magnetism, Gravitation, Stationary Waves, Electrons and Photons, Elasticity, Wave Theory of Light and Communication Systems. Chemistry- Chemical Thermodynamics and Energetics, Coordination Compounds, P-Block Elements- Group 15 to 18, Alcohol Phenol Ether, D and F block elements, Organic compounds containing Nitrogen, Solid State, Solutions and Colligative Properties, Polymers, Chemical Kinetics, Biomolecules, Chemistry in Everyday Life, Halogen Derivatives of Alkanes and Arenes, Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids, Electrochemistry and General Principles And Process of Isolation of Elements. Biology- Biotechnology: Process And Application, Genetic Engineering And Genomics, Control and Coordination, Human Reproduction, Microbes in Human Welfare, Genetics Basis of Inheritance, Photosynthesis, Gene: Its Nature, Expression and Regulation, Respiration, Chromosomal Basis of Inheritance, Human Health and Diseases, Reproduction in Plants, Origin and the Evolution of life, Organisms and Environment II, Enhancement in Food Production, Organisms and Environment I, Circulation, Animal Husbandry and Excretions and Osmoregulation. Mathematics- Linear Programming, Vectors, Probability, Application of Derivatives, Circle, Continuity, Definite Integrals, Ellipse, Hyperbola, Indefinite Integrals, Limits, Matrices, Numerical Methods and Mathematical Logic.
