As per your concern I will let you know Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat Eligibility criteria for MTECH program. Eligibility SPONSORED CANDIDATES OPEN / OBC CATEGORY : 01 B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. or equivalent degree in respective discipline with minimum 60% marks (CGPA 6.5). The said percentage / CGPA The above mentioned CGPA/Percentage should be awarded by a recognized University/Institute. 02 Minimum working experience of two years after graduation. RESERVED SC/ST CATEGORY : 01 B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. or equivalent degree in respective discipline with minimum Aggregate 55% marks (CGPA 6.0). The said percentage / CGPA The above mentioned CGPA/Percentage should be awarded by a recognized University/Institute. 02 Minimum working experience of two years after graduation. NOTE : 01 The serial order / merit list for the sponsored candidates, intended to occupy the stipulated vacancy would be prepared on the basis of 50% weightage for qualifying degree marks and 50% weightage for the written test / interview conducted by the concerned department of SVNIT. 02 Preference would be given to those candidates who are GATE qualified (in case of tie of marks awarded by using point 1). However, sponsored candidates will not be eligible to receive scholarship, even if they are admitted based on GATE score. 03 The candidates must have a minimum two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm / company / industry / educational and research institution / any Government Departments or Government Autonomous Organisations.
