Uttarkhand Police Superintendent Police exam competitive exam comprises of ;

Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) for the Selection of candidates to the main examination ;and

Main Examination (Written Examination) for selection of candidates to the personality test.

Personality test:
For final selection of candidates to various posts/ cadres

A. PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION:

The Preliminary Examination consists of two papers with objective type questions (multiple choice).

Paper – I
General Studies
150 Marks

Paper – II
One subject to be selected from the list of optional subjects
200 marks

B. Main Examination: The main Examination consists of written examination which is of conventional type

Paper - I
Gujrati
200 marks

Paper - II
English
200 marks

Paper – III
General studies
200 marks

Paper – IV & V
Two subjects to be selected from the list of optional subjects
Each subject will have two papers
200 marks for each paper

C. Interview:
The interview is for 100 marks
