Bath Spa University is a university based in, and around, Bath, England. The institution was previously known as Bath College of Higher Education, and later Bath Spa University College. It gained full university status in August 2005. Emotional and Mental Health Support Students can access professional advice and guidance on a range of issues, including: -Abuse, sexual or physical violence; -Academic stress e.g. becoming a student, panic attacks, stress, difficulty sleeping, motivation; -Alcohol or drugs; -Bereavement; -Bullying or harassment; -Dealing with the psychological aspects of illness or disability; -Homesickness and culture shock; -Identity e.g. personal, sexual; -Mental health e.g. diagnosis, depression, anxiety, fears; -Relationships e.g. family issues, personal relationships, difficulties with housemates, pregnancy; -Self-injury; -Suicidal feelings.
