Eligibility for the Exam : one may be Graduate in any Stream With Minimum 55 % of Marks


Examination : the SBI Clerk Examination has three phases

Online Preliminary Examination
Online Mains Examination
Interview (if any)


Examination Pattern:

Preliminary Examination of SBI Clerk was held in online mode.

The total mark for the Preliminary Examination was of 100 marks comprising of three sections – English, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude.

The duration of the Mains exam was 2 hours 40 minutes comprising of 200 marks.

There was four section in the Mains Exam of SBI Clerk 2016 – Reasoning & Computer Ability, General & Financial Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and General English.

There is also provision for negative. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Mains Examination and Interview.
