Re: St Xavier University LPN To BSN
As you have asked about the Nursing LPN-BSN Requirements in St. Xavier university, I am giving you details about it, Students must meet the requirement for the undergraduate nursing program and show evidence of: Graduation from a NLNAC accredited program or a program approved by the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation; Current licensure as a practical nurse (LPN); Completion of essay as part of the application process; A 2.75/4.0 minimum cumulative GPA; and Completion of the TEAS (V) (Test of Essential Academic Skills), a diagnostic tool for basic skills at the proficient level. This test can be taken a maximum of two times. Freshmen may meet these criteria by earning a minimum ACT score of 21 composite with a score of 21 in science. All graduates from a NLNAC accredited practical nursing program or a program approved by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation who have not yet completed the NCLEX-PN should apply to the traditional nursing program. Once they have successfully completed the NCLEX-PN, they may request to be re-classified as an LPN-BSN student in the baccalaureate nursing program.
