The St. Johns Medical College and Hospital and School of Nursing were started in 1963, 1975 and 1980 respectively at Bangalore by the C.B.C.I. Society for Medical Education.

The School of Nursing was upgraded to the College of Nursing in 1989.

St. Johns National Academy of Health Sciences offers admission to its M.B.B.S. Degree.

The Admission to MBBS course will be based on NEET UG scores. Earlier there was Entrance Test for the admission but now onwards admission to MBBS will be based on NEET scores as per the order of the honourable Supreme Court of India.

Candidate should have completed 17 years of age

Academic Qualification:

Candidates must have passed Class 12 examination or its equivalent examination/two-year Pre-University examination conducted by Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka State with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects.
