Yeah if you have completed your graduation then you can apply for SSC combined graduate level exam.

SSC combined graduate level exam Eligibility-

(i) Compiler: Bachelor’s Degree with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject from any recognized University.

(ii) Statistical Investigator Grade – II: Bachelors Degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects.

OR

Bachelors Degree with Mathematics (with Statistics as a papers studied in one year/two years/all three year as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.

OR

Bachelors Degree with Economics (with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.

OR

Bachelors Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.

(iii) All other Posts: Bachelors Degree (Graduation Degree) from a recognized University or equivalent.

Age limit

Inspector of Income Tax/ Inspector (Central Excise) / Inspector (Preventive Officer)/ Inspector (Examiner)/ Inspector of Posts/ Assistant Enforcement Officer/ Compiler/ Divisional Accountant/ Auditors/ UDCs /Tax Assistants/ Junior Accountant & Accountant-
18-27 years

Statistical Investigator Gr.II
Not exceeding 26 years

Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI
20-27

SSC combined graduate level exam syllabus

The Tier I written examination consists of objective type multiple choice questions for a total of 200 marks. Negative marking is applicable with 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer. The exam is to be completed in 2 hours and is divided into four sections:
1. General Intelligence and Reasoning - 50 marks
2. General Awareness - 50 marks
3. Quantitative Aptitude - 50 marks
4. English Comprehension - 50 marks
Total Marks - 200

Part A :

a) General Intelligence:

It would include questions of both verbal and non verbal type. This component will include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc.

b) General Awareness:

Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, economic scene, General polity and scientific research etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline

Part B :

Arithmetic:

This part will include questions on problems relating to number system, computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions, relationships between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentage, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, use of tables and graphs, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and time etc.

Hey, I am completing Internship training of B.tech 3rd year I am a final year student will you tell me that am I eligible for SSC combined graduate level exam?

Hey, you are not eligible for SSC combined graduate level exam as you a final year student and for appearing in SSC combined graduate level exam candidate should be a graduate.

Eligibility criteria :

Age :

Candidate should be between 18-27 years of age.

Educational Qualification :

Candidate should have graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

For the post of Compiler and Statistical investigator Candidate should have studied Economics/statistics/mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects at the level of graduation.

For the post of Assistants (CSS) candidate should be computer proficient .


Physical standard :
For the post of Inspector (CENTRAL EXCISE/EXAMINER/ PREVENTIVE).
• Male Candidates:
Height 157.5 cms.
Chest 81 cms.
Walking: 1600 m in 15 mins.
Cycling: 8 Kms. in 30 mins.

• Female Candidates :
Height 152 cms.
Weight 48 Kgs.
Walking: 1000 m in 20 mins.
Cycling: 3 Kms. in 25 mins.

• For the post of Inspector CBI :
Height for male 165 cms and 150 cms for females
