SSC Auditor a post in the pay band 5,200-20,200 with grade pay of Rs 2,800.
To become the SSC Auditor you have to pass a confirmatory exam first to be confirmed.
The minimum qualifying period for the promotion to the next post of Sr Auditor is 3 years compulsory service at the post
The pay-band for Sr Auditor is 9,300-34,800 and grade pay of Rs 4,200.
An Auditor can also appear in the SAS Exam after two years of qualifying service at the post
After passing the exam you can become AAO (Assistant Audit Officer) in the pay-band 9,300-34,800 with grade pay of Rs 4,800.
In CAG the SAS exam has two stages namely
1. GROUP-I &
2. GROUP-II
In CGDA it has three stages namely
1. Preliminary
2. Part-I and
3. Part-II
Age limit in SSC CGL for this post is 18-27 for UR.
