SPCBA Graduate School of Business students are academically prepared in an environment that recognizes the diversity and complexity of our world. Their program of studies are designed to the needs and time and thus take a global perspective. MBA program Academic Load- The maximum load that students can take is nine (9) units per trimester. In the case of graduating students the Dean may authorize, in special cases, an overlaod of three (3) units. Admission Requirements- For admission to MBA/MGM program, a candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in any field of specialization from any college or university with employment in a business firm or self-employment of at least one (1) year from graduation. Curricula- The MBA curricula are designed to the particular needs and requirements of business concerns and government agencies in a developing country. The courses are divided into three groups. Basic Skill Courses These courses provide he basic tools, techniques and skills employed by a manager in managing various functions of an organization. These include statistics, quantitative, methods, computer use, economics and organizational communications. Integrating Courses These courses provide knowledge about some of the key and interval environments of the firm. These includes subjects in corporate planning, business policy, strategic management, fiscal administration etc. Functional Courses These are courses which develop knowledge, concepts and practice in the functional areas of business and government undertakings. Tehse includes subjects on finance, accounting, marketing, production, operations and human resources management.
