South Indian Bank Salary

I am interested in the banking sector and for this I am planning to join the South Indian bank but before joining please tell me the salary structure of the South Indian bank given to the PO officer so that I can compare it with the salary given to PO officer at other nationalized bank?

The South Indian Bank Ltd. invited applications from Indian nationals having one year of work experience in Scheduled Commercial Banks in the Scale 1/officer cadre for filling up vacancies of Pro.Officers (Scale I).

SALARY:

In the pay scale of Rs.14, 500 – 600/7 – 18700 – 700/2 – 20100 – 800/7 - 25,700 plus DA, HRA & other allowances

Basic pay will be fixed in the appropriate stage of Scale I as above depending on qualification, exposure and years of experience.

Performance linked Incentive: Maximum Rs.70, 000/- per annum, as per scheme in vogue.

ELIGIBILITY:

Minimum Educational Qualification

Graduation from any recognized university, (10+2+3) regular stream with at least 60% for qualifying degree in Science stream or 55% for other streams.

Age Not more than 28 years and not less than 21 years

Upper age limit will be relaxed by five years in the case of SC/ST candidates

Work Experience

The candidates should have mandatory minimum work experience of 1 year in scheduled commercial banks in the
Scale I/officer cadre.
