The following functionalities are available:
Funds transfer (within and outside the bank)

Immediate Payment Services (IMPS)

Enquiry services (Account Information / Balance enquiry / Mini statement)

Instant Opening / Closure of Fixed, Recurring Deposits

Bill Presentment and Bill Payment (Utility bills, credit cards, Insurance premium),

Mobile /DTH Top up

M Commerce (Merchant payments, SBI life insurance premium)

Postpaid Bill payments

Business Rules
All Current/ Savings Bank Account holders in P segment and Current account holders in SME segment are eligible.

Third party transaction limit per customer per day is Rs.50,000/- with no monthly CAP.

All customers can avail the Service irrespective of their telecom service provider.

The Service is free of charge. SMS/GPRS cost will be borne by the customer.

Registration Process
Send SMS MBSREG to 9223440000 to receive User ID and Default MPIN.

Download State Bank Freedom application (if preferred mode of channel is applicaton based) /

Change the default MPIN through application / NUUP / by sending an SMS, based on the preferred mode of operation.

Complete registration process instantaneously by visiting State Bank ATM, Internet Banking or Branch

Option 1: Activate using State Bank ATM-cum-Debit card at any State Bank ATM. Choose 'Mobile Registration > Mobile Banking Registration > Registration' and enter your 10 digit mobile number, which should be already registered with the Bank.

Option 2: INB (Internet Banking) > E-Services > State Bank Freedom > Register.

Option 3: Submit registration form at the Home Branch for immediate activation.
