Hi I would like to have the information about the employer guide on the Statutory Maternity Pay and Leave as laid down by the Government of UK?

Qualified workers can take up to 52 weeks' maternity clear out. The initial 26 weeks is known as 'Conventional Maternity Leave', the most recent 26 weeks as 'Extra Maternity Leave'.

The soonest that leave can be taken is 11 weeks before the normal week of labor, unless the child is conceived early.

Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP)
