CGL, or Convent Green Lane, full name is SMK Convent Green Lane (CGL) Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus, also called Convent Green Lane, is a young ladies' auxiliary school in Penang. It is situated along Green Lane, with one side along Hamilton Road. Community Green Lane was set up by the Roman Catholic ministers, basically instrumental being Father M. Father Surmon serves as the ward minister of the Church of the Holy Spirit (now Cathedral of the Holy Spirit) while remaining at the Little Sisters of the Poor along Batu Lanchang Lane. Community Green path was opened on 3 April, 1961. The primary headmistress of Convent Green Lane was Sister Helen O'Sullivan. From a start with only twelve classrooms, the school has extended throughout the decades.
