SLIIT Malabe

What are the various courses in Engineering being provided in SLIIT? As I am looking forward to take admissions in Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, regarding that I want some information about the reaching pattern and academics. Does it differ from that in India?

The Malabe Campus of the SLIIT is situated on a 25 acre site in a serene environment in Malabe overlooking the enchanting hills of the mid-country. Malabe is only 10 km east of Colombo precincts and it is the designated future Cyber City of Sri Lanka.

SLIIT Malabe Campus has a set of aesthetically designed, modern buildings comprising a ten storeyed building, a six storeyed building and a large auditorium.

At this Campus the following programs are conducted:
(1) B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Information Technology
Specializing in
(i) Information Technology
(ii) Computer Systems & Networking
(iii) Information Systems
(2) B.Sc. in Information Technology of Curtin University, Australia
(3) BBA in Business Management, Sheffield Hallam University, UK
(4) B Eng in Electronic Engineering, Sheffield Hallam University, UK

Further, in-house facilities are available at the following centres:
Software design and development Division
Research and development incubator
SLIIT Research Centre

All study and common areas are WIFI enabled.
Laboratories,
Lecture rooms
Several theatres,
Library as well as reading rooms are centrally air conditioned and are provided with automatic lifts, fire detection and control systems as well as TV camera surveillance.
