Eligibility for B.Ed admission
A citizen of India who has passed B.A/B.Sc degree examination of Bangalore University or any university in India or abroad recognized as equivalent through 10+2+3 pattern of education obtaining 50% of marks in aggregate of all the subjects he / she has studied for 3 years is eligible for admission to B.Ed course provided.

He /She has studied at least any ONE of the following languages 1. English,
2. Kannada 3. Hindi 4. Urdu 5. Marathi 6. Sanskrit.

Any TWO of the following electives:

Duration of the course & medium of Instructions:

The duration of study for B.Ed semester course hall extend over a period of one academic year of TWO semester.

Minimum duration for practice teaching shall be of 06 weeks (Six weeks) which excludes programmes like micro teaching and practice of communication skills.

The college shall provide instructions in both English and Kannada mediums.

Student teachers shall opt English or Kannada medium for teaching practice irrespective of their medium of instruction opted for theory papers in our college.

Student teachers shall opt either English or Kannada medium to write their 1st semester and II nd semester examinations irrespective of their medium selected for theory classes and teaching practice.
