Sikkim Manipal University or SMU has collaboration with Andrews University, Michigan, USA, Lancaster University, UK and Leicester University, UK to offer a BS (Engg) Twinning Programme (equivalent to a B Tech in India).

One study for two years at SMU and thereafter study for 2 years at Andrews University/Lancaster/Leicester University.

One is allowed to carry the credits earned at SMU to their college in USA/UK. The BS (Engineering) degree will be awarded by the University in USA/UK.

Eligibility

One must have passed (10+2) or equivalent with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry or Computer Sciences or Biology or Biotechnology, as one of the optional subjects.

One must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in these subjects to be considered for selection (45% for SC/ST/OBC).
