Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) (Govt. of India / Ministry of Home Affairs) Issued Recruitment Notification for Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) (Steno) Open Competitive Examination 2015-16 has Been issued for publication.

The Applications will be Accepted from 1st February 2016 and Close on 1st March 2016

Total Vacancies :

229 (Ex-serviceman – 04)

Age Limit :

Between 18 and 25 Years (Relaxation 05 Years for SC /ST, 03 Years for OBC)

Pay Scale and Grade Pay :

5200-20200 with Grade Pay
2800/- (Minimum pay in pay band is ₹ 8,560/- P.M.)

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have Passed Intermediate (Matric with +2) or equivalent examination from a board or university recognized by Central or State Government.

Two or Three year Diploma certificate in technical education done after 10th class is not equivalent to intermediate (10+2).

Skill Test (On computer):

Dictation - 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute
Transcription time - 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.

Physical Standards:

Height -> For Male - 165 Cms (162.5 Cms for ST and Remote Area Candidates); For Female - 155 Cms (150 Cms for ST and Remote Area Candidates)

Chest (Male Only) -> For General / OBC / SC - 66 Cms (Unexpanded), 82 Cms (Expanded); For ST - 76 Cms (Unexpanded), 81 Cms (Expanded)

Weight -> Proportionate/Corresponding to height and age as per medical standards (For males and females) Over/under weight will be disqualification at the stage of medical examination only.
