I have completed my BDS degree and now I want to join Army as a dentist so can you please give me the method that how can I join this?

As you want to join army after BDS degree so here I am giving you its selection procedure Selection Procedure There are two methods of Recruitment to the medical posts in army: Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC). Permanent Commission 50% of the graduate candidates who passing out from the Armed Forces Medical College Pune are taken directly into Permanent Commission The rest of candidates are offered Short Service Commission. Doctors from civil medical colleges are offered only SSC entry. Short Service Commission Upper Age Limit- 45 Years Permanent Commission Age limit for granting PC for different professional educational qualification are: MBBS (Max. 30 years) Post Graduate Diploma (Max. 31 years) Post Graduate MD/MS (Max. 35 years) Eligibility Criteria Applicants must have a medical qualification of an Indian University or a foreign medical qualification recognised by the Medical Council of India. Incentives : An antedate of 3 years seniority for post graduates and 2 years for post graduate diploma recognised by MCI and 6 months for a house job, done at a recognised hospital to fresh entrants. |
