What is the Scope for a student who qualifies GATE?

GATE is the abbreviated form of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is basically oragnised by the IIT's and IIM's to select the applicants for the M.Tech courses.

1. Applicants may easily get admission in any IIT's, NIT's or BITS, for continuing studies for the Master's in Technology Courses.

2. PSU's have decided to recruit through the GATE score and rank, so there also Applicants may get well placed in some PSU, and secure their future.

3. Applicants is applying for a private job off campus, then also the GATE score is handy as it defines the quality of knowledge you hold of your graduation.

So in a way, GATE exam is always benefiting the future of the Applicants who apply and sit for it.

So whether or not a Applicants wants to pursue M.Tech or not, I suggest every engineer should sit atleast once for the GATE exam.
