Re: Scope after EEE

After completing B-Tech in EEE (Electrical and Electronic Engineering), you are eligible for applying for Government and Private sector both. Final year students are eligible to apply.

Eligibility

1. A B.Tech degree from a recognized university.

2. Minimum of 60 percent marks.

3. A valid GATE score, no more than 2 years old.

4. There should be no pending backlog.

5. Age limit is 21 to 30 years.

6. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC.

7. SC/ST are also given 5 years relaxation.

If you’re academic marks is above 60% then you applicable for below organization.

Government sector Recruiting EEE aspirants;
* Indian Space Research Organization
* Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited
* Electronics Corporation India Limited
* Defence Research and Development Organization
* Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited
* Indian Railways
* Combined Defence Services
* Steel Authority of India Limited
* Gas Authority of India Limited
* Hindustan Aeronautics Limited
* National Thermal Power Corporation
* Oil and Natural Gas Corporation
* Indian Engineering Services


You are eligible for UPSC exam like IFS , IAS , IPS , IES , SCRA ,NDA etc.

Some of the Private sectors;
* TCS
* CTS
* Infosys
* Satyam
* Accenture
* IBM
* Wipro
* Microsoft
* Airtel
* Aircel
* Vodafone
* Tata
* Reliance , etc

Some of the Other sectors;
* Tech Support
* BPO/KPO
* Call Centers
* Sales Executive

To get a job in any of the above filed you need to clear an Entrance Exam.

Exam is conducted in 4 rounds normally.

1. Written Test: In written test logical reasoning (verbal & non verbal),mathematical aptitude and some technical questions are asked.

2. Group Discussion: In group discussion candidates are a given a topic on which all have to discuss in favor or in against. Here communication skills and thinking capability are checked.

3. Technical Interview: This is a face to face interview. In technical interview, basic programming concepts, database questions and networking concepts are asked by a group of interviewer.

HR Round: This is also a face to face interview. In this HR manager of company asks questions about salary expectations, future plans etc..
