The School of Fashion Technology (SOFT), Pune was established in 1998 by Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha (MKSSS), Pune , India - in collaboration with National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), (Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India). The SOFT admits its students to the various postgraduate and undergraduate courses through the School of Fashion Technology Entrance Exam. SOFT Entrance exam: The SOFT conducts Common entrance exam for the applicatnts, who wanted to grow up their career in the world of Fashion. They offer Undergraduate and Post graduate programs in Fashion design, Communication and life style and also in Textile Design. Eligibility: For UG Courses: The candidate should have pass +2 in any stream under the recognized board. The minimum age limit is 17 years. For PG Courses: The candidate should have completed the graduation in any discipline from nationally reorganized university. The minimum age limit is 21 years. Selection procedure: The admission will be purely on the merit basis. How to apply: The interested candidates can download application form from the official website of SOFT. The candidates can also purchase the form from the institute either by directly the cash payment Rs. 1000/- or by sending the request form to the admission committee of the institute wit a DD of Rs.1200/- in favor of “School of Fashion Technology” which should be payable at Pune. The candidates should collect the application form before the deadline.
