Can you please tell me dates to issue the application form of PO post announced by State Bank Of India and also get further details of post?

Payment of Application Fees/Intimation Charges

Download of call letters for Online Preliminary Examination
3rd week of June 2017

Online Examination – Preliminary
First week of July 2017

Result of Online Exam – Preliminary
July 2017

Download of Call Letter for Online Main Exam
3rd week of July 2017 onwards

Conduct of Online Examination – Main
Last week of July 2017

Declaration of Result – Main August 2017

Download Call Letter for Interview
August 2017

Conduct of Group Discussion & Interview
First week of September 2017

Declaration of Final Result
Last week of September 2017

Application Fee
For General and Others: Rs. 600/-

For SC/ST/PWD category candidates: Rs.100/-

Exam pattern
Paper Pattern of Preliminary Exam

There will be an online test containing 100 objective type questions conducted.

Duration of the paper will be for 1 hour.

Distribution of questions in the exam would be as follows:

Test Paper Number of Questions Marks
English Language 30 30
Quantitative Aptitude 35 35
Reasoning Ability 35 35

Paper Pattern of Main Exam
Main exam will have two parts i.e. Objective Part and Descriptive Part. Objective part will be of 200 marks whereas; Descriptive test will be of 50 marks.

Descriptive test will be basically a test of English language.

Number of Attempts
For General category of candidates- 4

For General (PwD)- 7

For OBC (PwD)- 7

For OBC- 7

For SC/SC(PWD)/ ST/ ST (PWD)- The authority hasn’t specified any restriction
