State Bank of india Conduct the PO Recruitment Exam for the Recruitment of the Probationary Officer in the Various branches of the Bank


Eligibility Criteria

If you have a graduation degree from any recognised university or an equivalent qualification recognised by the central government, you can apply for the job.
You must not be below 21 years and not over 30 years as of 1 January, 2017 for general category candidates.
The age limit is relaxed for the reserved category: the upper limit for candidates of Other Backward Classes (OBC) is relaxed by three years.
The upper limit of age for Scheduled Class (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) has been relaxed by five years.

Examination Pattern

he exam pattern can be divided in the following three phases.

Phase I - Preliminary exam

This online examination will be an objective test (online mode) of 1 hour
You must answer 100 objective type questions, divided into 3 sections :
English language - 30 questions, 30 marks
Quantitative aptitude - 35 questions, 35 marks
Reasoning ability - 35 questions, 35 marks
You need to qualify each of the above 3 tests to be shortlisted for the Main exam.

Phase II - Main exam

The main exam will have an objective test (online) for 200 marks and a descriptive test (online) for 50 marks.
The 3 hour objective test will have 4 sections & you must qualify each of these sections:

Candidates are required to pay online Applications Fee (Non-Refundable) Rs.600/- for General and OBC Candidates and Rs.100/- for reserved candidates.
