State Bank of Indias recruitment of Probationary Officers was conducted tentatively in April-May 2017. Selection for the post will be through a country-wide competitive Examination in three phases i.e. online written examination (prelims and mains) followed by Group exercises/Interview. The questions in objective tests, except for the test of English Language, will be made available in English & Hindi. Candidates will have to qualify in each test by securing passing marks to be decided by the organisation. Phase II : Main Examination: Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 Marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive Test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered. There is penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both - Preliminary and Main Objective examination). No marks will be deducted for un-attempted questions. Descriptive Test : the Descriptive Test of 30 Minutes duration with 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter writing and Essay). The descriptive test will be in English and will be conducted through on line mode and there will also be a separate cut-off marks for the Descriptive Test. Phase III : Interview One is short listed based on online Phase II (mains examination) subsequently be called for an Interview. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the short listed candidates in the call letter. |
