I opened student account in SBI branch. I want to know its mobile banking service so would you please provide me its subscription procedure in steps to get information of account balance by SMS?

The service is available on all phones (java/non java) with/without GPRS connection. No need to download the application, through SMS you can get information of your account on your mobile Ordinary SMS charges are applicable.

The following functionalities are available:

• Enquiry Services (Balance Enquiry/Mini Statement)
• Mobile Top up
• DTH Top up/ recharge
• IMPS- Mobile to Mobile Transfer
• Change MPIN

You can check the balance by sending miss call to 09223766666 or sending SMS ‘BAL' to 09223766666.

You can get the mini statement of last 5 transaction of the account by sending miss call to 09223866666 or sending SMS ‘MSTMT' to 09223866666.

You can block your SBI ATM card by sending SMS 'BLOCK XXXX' to 567676. XXXX represents last 4 digit of the card number.

You can also do loan enquiry by sending SMS ‘HOME' or ‘CAR' to 09223588888.
