About the Department : The Department of Economics was established in 1977 and offers M.A. & M.Phil. prograames based on CBCS mode with intake of 70 and 15 (for 2015-16) respectively and Ph.D. programme as per the UGC Regulation2009 with present maximum capacity of 24 enrollments.

It has a computer lab with 20 PCs and accesses to campus vide Wi-Fi facility. All class-rooms are LCD equipped and one with smart-board.
