Sambalpur University MCA Admission

I have done BCA and now want to do MCA from Sambalpur University that’s why I want to know when the university will start admission procedure for this program in 2012 and how I can get admission in this program.

What are the educational qualifications required to apply for the MCA course at Sambalpur University, Directorate of Distance and Continuing Education (DDCE) ?

Directorate of Distance and Continuing Education (DDCE) offers three years duration MCA course .

The course is to be completed in maximum 6 semesters.

Eligibility:

(a) Lateral Entery(2 Year)

Applicants have already successfully completed:

(i) 'A' level examination of DOEACC, after Graduation.

(ii) PGDCA / PGDIT or its equivalent programme from a recognized University.

(iii) BCA, BSc(IT), BSc(Computer Sc) or BSc Computer Science/IT as a major subject.

(b) Direct Entry (3 Year)

Any Graduate of a recognized University having mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level.

Applicants not studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level have to complete the mathematics syllabus as per BCA course structure .

Fee Structure:

The Course Fees for MCA is Rs.9,000/- Per Semester .
Exemption fees for applicants admitted under lateral entry with an additional amount of Rs.5000/- .

Total Rs. 14000/- at the time of admission for lateral entry student .

Examination fees for MCA is Rs.500/- per Semester .
For Direct admission Candidates are required to deposit an additional fees of Rs. 2000/-.
