Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is the institutional body which conducts recruitment for various posts of PSU banks.

For staff of its participating banks, IBPS conducts clerical cadre examination every year throughout India. The examination is conducted through online mode.

Clerk Salary in IBPS at 109.8 % DA - Rs. 17000-19000 (Gross)

Salary Structure:
Basic Salary in 7200 basic pay: 8000

Dearness Allowance at 109.8 % = 8784

House Rent Allowance: 10%= 800

Transport Allowance: 225

IBPS Clerk Cash in hand Salary is Rs. 16000-18000.

It increases as DA gets revision every 6 month. The above calculation is based on current dearness allowance.

Typical Salary structure, Entry level (Indicative):

-The basic pay of a Bank clerk is Rs 7200 in all the places.

-The dearness allowance of a bank clerk in all the places is 6922.80

-The HRA for various places is as follows:

Places with population of more than 45 lakh: Rs 720
Places with population of more than 12 lakh: Rs 648
-Places with population of 5 lakh and above: Rs 540
Other places: Rs 504

-Hence the total salary including HRA would be:

Places with population of more than 45 lakh: Rs 14842.80
Places with population of more than 12 lakh: Rs 14770.80
Places with population of 5 lakh and above: Rs 14662.80
Other places: Rs 14626.80
