JEE Advanced Examination is an Engineering Entrance Exam for Admission into the IITs of India Eligibility Criteria : Only Top 1,50,000 candidates across JEE Main Merit List of various categories will be eligible for taking JEE Advanced exams. These candidates are distributed across merit lists in the following manner: 50.5% candidates or Top 75,750 candidates from the Common Merit List (CML), 27% candidates or Top 40,500 candidates from the Other Backward Classes-Non Creamy Layer OBC(NCL), 15% candidates or Top 22,500 candidates from the Scheduled Caste(SC), 7.5% candidates or Top 11,250 candidates from the Scheduled Tribe(ST). Age limits General Candidates and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates should not be more than 25 years old to be eligible for the exam Cutt Off Criteria: Category Cutoff Score for appearing in JEE Advanced General 100 Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL) 70 Scheduled Caste (SC) 52 Scheduled Tribe (ST) 48 Syllabus Topics : Physics- Includes General Topics, Mechanics, Thermal Physics, Electricity and Magnetism, Optics and Modern Physics Mathematics- Includes topics under Algebra, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus and Vectors Chemistry- Includes topics under Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry |
