Selection procedure for Group D post

Railway recruitment cell has specified a certain selection procedure. The employment shall be done in a three stage process.

Written examination: Only those candidates who clear the RRC Group D cut off, as specified by the RRC, will be declared qualified in the RRC Group D Result.

Candidates, who have obtained marks in the written exam more than the RRC Cut Off for Group D recruitment, are declared qualified.

Physical efficiency test (PET):

Among the qualified candidates, three times the number of vacancies in the order of merit, will be called for the RRC Group D PET.

Male candidates are expected to run a 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.

Distance to be covered by female candidates is 400 metres in 3 mins 10 sec.

Medical examination:

Candidate should be medically fit in all respects and visual standards as specified by the Railway Recruitment Cell.
