Hi, as you want the syllabus of RRB exam for ECE diploma holders so here I am providing you.

RRB Senior Section Engineer Exam syllabus:

The question paper will be an objective type paper (Multiple Choice Questions MCQs) in which there will be 150 questions for which 2 Hours (120 Minutes)of time will be allotted.

Marks Distribution-
Technical Ability & General Science (90 Questions)
General Awareness/ Arithmetic/ General Intelligence (60 questions)

There will be negative marking in the paper of 1/3rd marks for every wrong answer

Exam Syllabus -

General intelligence & reasoning- Questions will be asked from similarities & differences, problem solving, judgment, decision making, discrimination, coding & deciding, statement conclusion, observation, number series, non- verbal series.

Arithmetic- Basic algebra, polynomials, factors, polynomials, data interpretation, time & distance, Simple & Compound interest, ratios, , time& work, simplification, frequency polygon

General Awareness- Sports affairs, Banking News, Indian History, Political System, Current Events, Geography, National & international affairs, railway news

General Science- Class 12th based syllabus of basic science concepts- Biology, Physics, Chemistry

Technical Abilities- Questions will depend on field/trade which is being selected by the applicants. The questions will depend on the syllabus-

RRB Sr Section Engineer Syllabus Mechanical: Machining and Machine tool operations, Metrology and Inspection, Thermodynamics, Theory of Machines, Engineering Mechanics, IC Engines, Diesel Engines, metal Casting, Machine Tool operations, Fluid Mechanics, heat transfer

Electrical: Circuits & Measurements systems, electric circuits and fields, Signals and systems, Electrical machines, power systems, Control Systems, Electrical and electronic measurements, analog & digital electronics and all other basics of electrical field.

Civil: Errors and adjustment, Costing & valuation of Building materials, water requirements, traffic engineering, importance of surveying, principles and classification, mapping concepts, map projections, theodolite traversing, bridge construction, fluid mechanics, basic drawing, construction & structure engineering

Electronics: Silicon, Diffusion current, drift mobility, Control system, communication basics, basic electronics, antennas, arrays and all basics of electronics field
