Hello sir I am belonging from the OBC category and I want to appear in the Rajasthan Pre Veterinary Test (RPVT). So I want to know about total number of seats in Rajasthan Pre Veterinary Test (RPVT). Please tell me about its seats reserve in Rajasthan Pre Veterinary Test (RPVT) for OBC applicants?

Constituent Colleges:
College of Veterinary and Animal Science, Bikaner; Navania- Vallabhnagar (Udaipur) and Jodhpur
Regular seats – 60 at Bikaner and 50 at Navania .
Payment seats – 15 at Bikaner, 10 at Navania and 60 at Jodhpur
Affiliated Veterinary Colleges – At present the following Veterinary Colleges are affiliated with the University :
Apollo College of Veterinary Medicine, Agra Road, Jaipur;
Arawali Veterinary College, Jaipur Road, Sikar;
B.S. College of Veterinary Medicine & Research Centre, Ghoriwara Kalan, Mukundgarh, Jhunjhunu;
Mahatma Gandhi Veterinary College, Agra Road, Bharatpur;
Mahatma Jyotiba Phule College of Veterinary & Animal Science, Chomu, Jaipur; and
Sri Ganganagar Veterinary College, Near RIICO colony, Sri Ganganagar.
In each Affiliated College, 30 seats are regular seats and 30 seats are management seats. The fees structure is to be notified and announced by the respective affiliated college.

Notification for admission to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course in constituent and affiliated College(s) of Veterinary and Animal Science of Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner will appear in newspaper as well as on website in the month of March every year and Exam will be held in the month of June.

Minimum Eligibility Qualification
10+2 exam/equivalent exam conducted by an Education Board/University/Council (duly recognized by the Rajasthan Board, CBSE, New Delhi) with not less than pass marks in each subject and not less than 50% marks in the aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. However, for SC/ST candidates, the minimum aggregate required is 40%. OR any exam of a University/Education Board/ College/School in a foreign country recognized by the Academic Council as an equivalent for the purpose with good knowledge of English.


Minimum Age
17 years on or before the 31 December of the year of admission.


Allocation of seats
1. 85% of sanctioned seats are reserved for Rajasthan domicile candidates.
2. Only 15% of seats are opened for All India Competitive Examination.
3. Regular seats: 28 at Bikaner, 40 at Navania, (Udaipur) and 40 at Jaipur.
4. Payment seats: 40 at Bikaner, 40 at Navania, (Udaipur) and 40 at PGIVR Jaipur. (Payment seat fees: Rs 2.00 lac in addition to the regular fee per year)
