Ringling College of Art & Design is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges [SACSCOC] to award the Bachelor of Arts and the Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees. The College is also accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design [NASAD], and at the First Professional Degree Level by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation [CIDA], formerly [FIDER].

Aug. 11-13 Department/Program Faculty Planning and Assessment Meetings.
Aug. 12 NEW International Student Orientation.
Aug. 13 Move-In Day for all NEW Resident Students.
Aug. 14 NEW Student Orientation begins with mandatory Enrollment Check-In for all NEW Resident and Commuter Students. Mandatory meeting for all NEW Commuter Students.
Aug. 15 NEW Student Orientation continues. Enrollment Check-In opens on the Portal for all Returning Students. Last day to withdraw from the College with 100% tuition refund.
Aug. 16 NEW Student Orientation continues. Resident Student Housing opens at 10 a.m. for Returning Resident Students
Aug. 17 NEW Student Orientation continues.
Aug. 18 FALL SEMESTER CLASSES BEGIN at 8:30 a.m.
Aug. 22 Drop/Add ends at 4:30 p.m. Last day to change classes, major, or full-time/part-time status. Deadline for completion of grade reviews.
Aug. 28 Last day to withdraw from the College with 90% tuition refund.
Sept. 1 Labor Day. NO CLASSES. OFFICES CLOSED.
Sept. 2 Discrepancy Reports due in the Office of Advising, Records and Registration Services.
