School of Management (SOM) at Rhode Island College offers Master of Professional Accountancy program as its graduate program , this program equalent to MBA in accounting . Students at SOM build the knowledge and skills required for today’s business environment .

Master of Professional Accountancy - M.P.Ac:
Admission Requirements:

Completed application form .

$50: nonrefundable application fee

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Students entering the program without an accounting background will be required:
To take a minimum of six hours of accounting principles in addition to their degree coursework.

Official transcripts .

Completion of the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT).

Exemption conditions:

A B.S. degree in accounting from Rhode Island College or the University of Rhode Island, with a 3.00 GPA in the major, will exempt the applicant from the GMAT.

Certain certification exams may also exempt the applicant from the GMAT.
